but be prepared for the backlash

According to Axios, President Biden is contemplating reworking our entire democracy in ways not seen since LBJ. Except they are wrong. President Regan reversed decades of progress to appease the far-right and the Evangelicals. He emboldened their fringe views, set the stage for George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush. President Regan created the snowball that culminated in President Trump.

President Joe Biden can absolutely do a ton of good for our country. Eliminating the filibuster, reworking the Executive Branch, protecting voting rights, and removing the last vestiges of the Jim Crow Era are just some of the important proposals he is considering. I support each of these ideas and they give me hope for the future.

However, there is already backlash. The propaganda machine on the right is already cranking out disinformation and provoking fights among the left. Obama did not have a good plan to counter this during the Affordable Care Act passing. Biden and all of us cannot let history repeat itself unless we want America to fail.
