an earnest agreement

allegiance

devotion and loyalty

to the flag

the fabric, the history, or the symbolism?

of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One Nation, under God

who’s God and which one?

indivisible

ignoring the Civil War?

with liberty

freedom from undue restrictions

and justice

fairness in the way people are treated

for all.

every person.
