It’s a common story

“Uprooted Man Flying Away” Tim Gorichanaz

Man wants to do good.
Man gets elected.
Man sees a shiny object.
Man grows corrupt.
Man serves term after term in the State House growing more and more out of touch…

Too bad it keeps repeating here in Billerica.

Our 6 term State Representative grows more and more out of touch with us. Here’s a sampling of his track record:

2020: Opposed Police Reform

2020: Spread misinformation related to mail-in voting

2020: Rejected public health official guidance to protect our children

2019: Voted against women receiving needed healthcare services

2018: Supports money being used as free speech. His district does not.

2017: Chose to not vote in relation to the Paris Climate Accord

2016: Continues supporting bigotted legislation against the wishes of his constituents.

2016: Sought to violate the Massachusetts Constitution to punish a political opponent

2015: Wanted to abolish the Commission on LGBTQ in Massachusetts

2015: Began attacking neighboring communities over immigrant rights

2015: Continued to attack cannabis

2014: Demonstrated that he does not want to discuss police brutality against his Black and Brown constituents.

2014: Attended a “Stop the Invasion” rally against children seeking asylum

2012: Continues to reject the need for public transportation

2011: Began attacking sex education in schools

2011: Launched culture wars in Legislature with Jim Lyons

2010: Elected during Tea Party Rise. Thanks Scott Brown!
