The Fear is Real
Is there a term for fear of the day after a Presidential Election?
Because I have it.
1992 — Bush v. Clinton — Joy lasted for a minute and then I began worrying about typical concerns of an 8 year old girl.
2000 — Bush v. Gore — WTF. The ramifications continue to be felt
2004 — Bush v. Kerry — WTF. The ramifications continue to be felt.
2008 — Obama v. McCain — OMG. I can’t believe it happened. The celebrations continue in small wayse
2012 — Obama v. Romney — OMG. Thank goodness, that could have been terrible!
2016 — Clinton v. Trump — WTF. The ramifications are tearing a hole in the space/time continuium and we’re all going to die.
2020 — TBA v. Trump (TBD) — We’re 11 months away and I know it will be difficult emotionally.
Is this adulthood? Or is this some strange alternate timeline?
